I am not sure that I understand the question. Recorded history relates purely to human activity here on earth, generally related to times for which we have written documents and material artefacts left by human beings. We cannot do much further back than Mesopotamian civilisation in terms of historical writing. Although pre-historical analysis allows us glimpses of much earlier human history. Science, on the other hand sends us much further back in time before there were human beings on earth and has evidence to show how old our planet actually is. There is also scientific evidence that the Universe itself is much older than our planet. Hope this is the general drift of your question. I do think that what we know currently about the 'age' of the universe is but a drop in the ocean of knowledge that we should strive to acquire. Hence my skeptical position!

There are so many different thoughts and views out there but I doubt if we'll ever find out the truth regarding the birth of the universe.
