I Travel with you

Note: this is a tribute to a dear relative who must now travel seeking surgery.

I Travel with you
I Travel with you
you go
My thoughts are
in your thoughts
my heart
is bruised

Like you
I am
tossed and torn

And if
you leave
this world
I too
Will be forlorn

You shake
the morning sky
Bring joy
And cause
The birds to sing
Your spirit
Is so fair
I'd give
To hold you

You are so wonderful: we love you

You are so wonderful: We love you
( This is a memorial poem for a great teenager who passed away last week.)
You are so wonderful
We love you...
Your spirit was so great...
Even in death
you challenge us..
Were not the abyss
'tween life and death
so large
We would have found you now...
Found you
And embraced you!
You constantly seek
Even in our memories
To improve us; To challenge
What makes us grow
To challenge
Everything we know
To love us totally
Without remorse

Tell us what you did on Martin Luther King Assassination Anniversary weekend.
CNN and CBS interviewed several African American leaders. I was amazed to hear
the Reverend Jesse Jackson say that he thought that we have made a huge amount of progress and that many of the things that were horrible issues then have been conquered. His point was well made because some people no longer have a vivid memory of just how bad discrimination was.
Did you watch soem fot her reports? And do you agree or disagree with Reverend Jackson? Please leave your links ! Thanks!nat

He is proud of the strides we have made in human rights and the stand that we took against slavery and discrimination. He appreciates all of the work that Martin Luther King did to make the world a better place.
