Moving Target by Elizabeth Lowell : A Great Read for summer!

Google did the pictures

Moving Target by Elizabeth Lowell

This is a wonderful read! Elizabeth's style is awesome! she covers interesting ground; there is mystery involved and lots of intrigue based upon an old Celtic family line and the traditions and hopes they want to keep.

Twelfth century Scotland is involved too!

So.. what are you reading this summer? Or are you finding that you are , by far, too busy to read?

Oooh! Twelfth century Scotland... I love the sound of that. Tell me more. If you must know, I do have time to read above and beyond Vacation Bible School materials. I am presently working on the sixth volume in a science fantasy action/adventure/series by Jennifer Roberson. Collectively they are called the Sword-Dancer series. I am presently in the sixth and final volume called Sword Sworn. You can imagine it has something to do with sword fighting... yes! There are some interesting encounters between the hero, SandTiger and his partner, Del. She is from the Northern country, he from the South. Together they are a formidable pair when there are swords in their hands.  Tiger changes after meeting up with Del in the first volume, Sword Dancer. Not only his attitude toward women has improved, but also his relationship to the world, and his thoughts about religion. In the third volume, Sword Maker, Tiger finds out that he is the messiah of prophecy in his world, but denies it over and over. He discovers his god-like powers in the fifth volume, Sword-Born, and is almost changed into something or someone he has no intention of becoming. With all his strength he fights this transformation and returns to his original appearance, minus his little fingers, but in the sixth volume I am learning that Tiger still has his powers. I think he has to learn how to control them, and use them for good... Yep, that's what I'm reading for now. Thanks for asking, Nat. Bea

I think I was probably the last person on earth to read "The Da Vinci Code". It was really intriguing.
I love all Marian Keyes' books. They are Irish stories about the women in a family and laugh out loud funny.
