Saint Exupery II

Google photos

Saint Exupery's" AGuide for Grown ups"

"The tree is more than first a seed, then a stem, then a living trunk, and then dead timber. The tree is a slow, enduring force straining to win the sky".

This verse is so wonderful in describing the awesome way trees move and sway in the spring wind.

How interesting to compare a tree to a character...

I bet he never drove a Jeep Cherokee into a tree.... his poetry would be much angrier if he had.
