Sky Terror:How Pakistani and British Intelligence Foiled the Mass Murder Plot

CNN 360

CBS

Pakistani intelligence has been working with British intelligence to uncover and stop the plan to have Britihs Pakistani terrorists explode bombs in planes(ten American planes) headed from Haethrow airport to America. Twenty four people have been arrested and Pakistan has helped with information about four more people.

These terrorists were going to board the plane; each would be bringin a different ingerdient. That is why you now cannot travel through security with liquifd things and powdered things; other than baby formula. In England you may not take an internet game device , a cell phone or a laptop. We are at code red until further notice.

How do you feel about this?

If they had been successful then people would have ben dead, not only in the sky, but also in ten Amercina cities.

I think they need to bring in dogs to sniff all bags before they are carried on for most explosive material gives off a scent.  They also need to realize that they can't get them all and sometimes they will fail and unfortunately that is life so they need to have more procedures in play that can deal with these sort of situations.  If they continue with too stringent of policies to fly, people won't fly as much and the airlines will suffer, so the airlines just need to find better ways for checking for things of that nature.

I think it is great that intelligence was able to foil the plan; I hate to fly so I worry about things like this. It doesn't bother me to have them restrict things to be carried on; better safe than sorry. And I am SOOOOO thankful my dear son flew home last week safe and sound rather than this week with the turmoil that is happening.

It really is worrying thinking about how close we came to mass murder on our hands again. this would have been the worst terrorist attacks faced by either Britain or America in many years. And it just serves to remind us that we're not as safe as we hoped. But as someone who flies regularly and has Adam fly out regularly to see me, i'd much rather all the extra security than for one of these sickos to succeed with their plan.

I'm very pleased and proud of the work that we've been doing to catch these people. i'm glad that it happened before the event rather than what we had last year. lots of people coming forward afterwards saying it could have been prevented.

If i had the money, i'd board a plane to america tomorrow. i'm not gonna let these people stop me from living.
great entry.
