Hawkings Pushed Europe to Continue Stem Cell Research

Google did the research and pictures

The Week

August 4-11

Hawking tried to ensure that European research of embryonic stem cells would continue. He urged Europe to continue down that road so that more people would hopefully not have to suffer from Lou Gerig's disease and other diabilitating diseases.

Germany had tried to veto this.

What do you think?

I think it is very important to continue...those that know people that could possible benefit from this or those that want to help others suffering would not veto such a thing, yes there is the possiblity that it goes to far, but I think that the greater good will come forth out of it.

I think it is ridiculous to hold back research due to a political agenda.

Germany never embraced baseball, and thus couldn't care less about Lou Gehrig's disease.
