It's Elvis' birthday! Happy Birthday Elvis!

Google assembled these pictures

It's Elvis Presley's birthday! (looks up..) "Happy Birthday Elvis!"

Do you have a favorite ELvis tune?

You may list more than one...

Please tell us what you like about Elvis...

ps for me the favorite songs would be:

"blue suede shoes"

"Blue Christmas"

and"All Shook up", "In the Ghetto"

HE did appear to give people awhole differetn way to look at rock and roll; a thing we are all grateful for. And rent a movie to see how he danced! HE was not my contemporary; but I still admired him a lot.

My favorite thing about him was that he truly cared for people very much.

That is what people said in his biographies.

I like all of his songs but "How Great Thou Art, "Welcome to my World," "Ain't it funny How time just slips away" (also known as "Hello There") are some favorites. I'm also crazy about "Just Pretend" and I guess my all time favorites are....."The Wonder of You" and "If I Can Dream." But I love everything really.

BTW, it's past midnight. His birthday is January 8. He would have been 72.

My favorite thing about him.......He really loved his audience. He loved people in general and his soul was good. I really believe souls like his cannot take the harshness of the real world. I loved him.......Hey, still do. : )

My favourite song by Elvis was Love Me, it was so simple but sung in such a heartfelt way! I also loved The Wonder of You. Elvis had that great charisma that all great stars have, it's so sad that he wasted his life away. Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/

I don't know, I'm sure i read recently that someone saw Elvis in their local cinema.

Happy Bday Elvis

I don't suppose i have a favourite song by him, he was a little before my time. But he was also a very talented actor, i like some of his movies that i've seen. very old, but classics.

My mom use to love Elvis and I visited graceland once, just so I can say that I have been there. Does that count for anything?

I have too many favorite Elvis' songs to list but I do have a special fondness for Jailhouse Rock and the dance number that he choreographed for it in the movie.  I've seen it a dozen times but it always looks fresh and new.--Sheria
