Happy Channukah!

Google assembled these pictures

Happy Channukah

Channukah and the lighting of the menorah begins on Saturday and goes on for nine days of lighting candles, praying, singing beautiful songs, celebrating family and receiving gifts!

I know I am early! Some people may be leaving town for the weekend!

Some people may be abroad!

Have a great holiday!

Please leave greetings, comments and links!

TY

ps I would like to ask what you think of the different styles of menorahs!which one do you like best?

pps Do you think (anyone) that having a Christmas tree conflicts with this holiday?

cheers!

I know plenty of Jewish people that put up both a Menorah and xmas tree.  The xmas tree is more a symbol of this season as a whole nowadays than a overly religious symbol anyways for people can decorate them however they wish to express themselves.

The holiday actually starts at dusk Fri eve, as do all Jewish religious Hoildays (I'm told by our friend Lori). So, I'll be acknowlegeing the holiday Fri eve in 3 of my7 journals! Then will put a post in Furr Babies on Sat (for the Jewish furr babies LOL). I know several Jewish families who have a tree, but some that don't. Since I'm not Jewish I can not speak for them.
Blessings (TY for posting),
