The Internet Community:How strong a linkup

How Strong Is Our Linkup?

People some people think that the Internet is so strong there are no boundaries anymore which can stop a person from communicating with the big world out there! Sound out: is this what you believe? Please let me know!

I think that if people let this be there only life then it is.

I think anytime we (general public) feel we are free with no boundaries, we are fooling ourselves. The government always has ways to direct us where they want us to go.

I can see how people who don't deal well with the "real" world could get caught up in the "internet" world instead of living life that is around them.  But, no, I don't believe that there are no boundaries anymore.  I believe that this has happened to a few people, but most of us still have everyday life to deal with and to take us away from the internet world.

Sometimes life can get in the way of either form of communication. Some folks are more comfy with one or another venue.

I think the Internet allows us to broaden our horizons, but there are still boundaries out there.  I must say, though, it's nice to have met nice journalers in Ireland and Great Britain through this medium  I would not have been able to do that before.  I like your new format.  Thanks for the heads up to get me over here!

I think the internet is a great resource - an almost overwhelming amount of information at your fingertips.  I've also had the pleasure of meeting people who are very dear friends via AOL - people I never would have met otherwise, who've blessed my life.  Strange how we've become so dependant on it.

I think that the internet allows us to meet people that we otherwise wouldn't have the chance to meet. I personally have friends all over the world now, but there are still boundries and issues that keep us seperated.

I don't know what you mean by boundaries, Nat, but it is big, and I have communicated with people around the country and the world. It doesn't prevent me from communicating in the real every day in person world. And I'm sure there are places I cannot get into because I don't have the expertise to get there. Look, I'm talking to you, and I'm relating to something you wrote in May of this year!
