It is now legal to sell outdated meat (beef, chicken, lamb,etc.) and make it look better by injecting carbon monoxide into it.
Please let us know what you think about this!
The only defense we have now is to check the date and make sure that you are a week away from expiration. So..how many of you do this?
Do you think that this is fair to the public do have expired meats out there?

I always check expiration dates on EVERYTHING! But many people don't, & some people actually LOOK for food that is about to expire so they can get it cheaper.

In England it is illegal to sell out dated meat or in fact any food stuffs, thanks for sharing

I guess that is why it is important to buy organic and free range meat and check the dates on the packages!
