How We Bloggers are weaving a Community

Some bloggers whose work I have read have agreed to read my journals and comment back and it's really giving me that new edgy feeling that we are  in the process of doing some creative barn building together!

It's very new and kind of far out and zanny... Ondine can drop a beautiful photo with a great piece of prose with it and I will feel uplifted.. or Lisa will tell a story about her funny day with the kids and husband and some serious thoughts about her health and I'm there...Or Unicorngirl will tell me about her life adn her philosophies. Kris and dragonrose throw in some tales and my eldest child will bring new feedback to life.

Thanks Guys!

lol. I think that we are weaving a community together. Im sorry I dont post on here a lot but with everything that I do that doesnt go in my journal..i only  have time to get online and post in my journal and then get off. Sorry, it took so long. I wish I could have been there when Star Wars first came out. Jme just bought a FX Lightsaber that usually runs for $120 so I guess I know a little about how it felt to live when it first came out..lol

Isn't J-land wonderful?  It's a bit of escapism for each and every one of us I think.  It helps us to not feel as isolated and alone in our "boring little worlds" that we think we exist in.  We write about something that we do every day, day in and day out, and then you get one comment and someone identifies with you and you think "WOW!  I am not alone!".  And, then it starts.  The addiction begins and before you know it,  you will have 50+ journals to keep up with each day as I do!  LOL!  I have met so many wonderful, loving, caring, helpful people in J-land and I honestly don't know what I would do without all of them (you included!).  I think it would be pretty darned boring that's for sure!  :)
Hugs and love,
Lisa

J-land is a wonderful place, and each time someone new posts a comment in your journal, you get a warm and fuzzy feeling, almost like you have made a new friend. Each comment makes you want to do an even better job on your next entry. And when you become a regular reader of someone else's journal, you find yourself looking forward to each new entry, eager to see what's new in their lives. Some of the best friends that I have are friends from J-land...people I have never met before and wouldn't recognize if I passed them on the street. Welcome to J-land. Hope you always enjoy it.

I love AOL J-Land as well - I've met so many awesome people here.   It does get addicting too - pretty soon your inbox will be full of alerts and it'll be hard to keep up, you watch.
