during highschool, I was in the artsy crowd, and usually wore whatever I felt like- as long as it was nothing like anyone else wore. I wore mini skirts alot- before they were in style, then when they came into style, I would wear leggings and long shirts of various bright colors. You get the idea! I was wierd! Now I wear whatever's comfy- usually clam diggers and tank tops. Thanks Nat! Have a great night! God Bless! Love carolyn :)
I use to wear those flowered jeans, wrestling boots and big sweaters! I was so in style then. I know I am old when the children are going to 80's parties and they go to thrift stores to buy the clothes that I use to wear! Kelli http://journals.aol.com/kamdghwmw/noonmom
Goodness, let me add them up! Leg warmers, dropped waist dresses, frizzy perms, yellow and purple mix clothing! Yeuch! I was a real 80's teen! ~ Caroline ~ http://journals.aol.com/caromarls/ANewAdventure
I was a teen in the seventies, and went to college in the seventies... you can only imagine! I didn't settle down until my son was born in 1978. I was not one to follow the styles... could not afford to buy what I wanted as a teen and so was a conservative dresser. I had two dresses in high school, and two pant suits. I had a couple of short skirts. After I got married, I do remember wearing halter tops and pants that were snug around the hips and thighs and flared out from the knees on down... I remember wearing tie-dyed shirts... and then there was a time period I loved the big shirts and wide belts, and leggings. Oooh, I could have done without those but at the time I thought I looked hot in them! but you said clothes in the teens: I remember clothes were pretty short in the teens. I can't believe I wore some of the skirts I wore. How did I ever sit down? bea
