I think it's great if it helped her son, but I don't know enough about the disease to make a comment on it.

I read an article about her in People Magazine I believe. I think it is good that she is trying everything she can to help her son and that she is bringing it in the public eye is a good thing as well.
It is a heartbreaking condition and anything is worth a try for these poor exhausted parents.
