I read something about an executive who had been on Wall Street and now she's dumpster diving; not because of poverty, but because she thinks it is a better lifestyle!

I think it's up to the individual...if that's what they want to do...then dive on!
There are many of homeless who have to do it everyday, to survive.

I don't know how sanitary that would be but other than that as long as they are in the right frame of mind, I don't see anything really wrong with it. Not something I would choose to do though.
I admire them, but I don't think they'd be much fun at a party
