China is spending hundreds of millions to construct buildings to house and showcase the upcoming Olympics!
Most, including me, have not the cash to attend...
I'm just curious..would you go? Are you interested?
Let us know!

Nope. I wouldn't go, even if money were not an option.
1. I'd really rather see the Olympics from the comfort of my own home.
2. I don't want to support the Chinese government. They are still communist. Still doing things that turn my stomach. I even try to avoid buying things made in China....but it's hard. So much is! And often its not clearly marked as such.

I would go. I would never pass up the oppertunity.

HI Nat! I am so gald you're back! I've missed you. As for the Olympics- if it were somewhere else I would maybe want to go (if I ever had the money that is) But unless China stops persecuting Christians, I won't even watch this Olympics on TV. I agree with a few people who have suggested that the USA ought to boycott. Oh well- I don't think that will happen though. Thanks Nat- I'll e mail you again soon- just real busy! Love Carolyn
Nope -- not me. While China is treating its people so badly -- particularly in religious persecution and family fertility issues, I have no desire to go there or spend any money there. And with their disregard for safety in manufacured products, including pet food items -- I'd prefer not to buy anything Chinese.
loving you

I went to the Sidney Olympics fantastic , although China would be a bit of a trek, but would love to visit the country one day.

I would love to travel anywhere, but I didn't even go to the Olympics when it was in Atlanta, only 4 hours away, too crowded for me.
Hi Nat, good to see your name on my screen
Marti
so nice to see an entry from you. Miss you my dear.
I would go if I could. Phan
I wouldn't go to the Olympics, have no interest in it.

If you need a laugh.... when the next Summer Olympics happen... look at the big broad backs on the Chinese women's swim team... all blood-doped and everything.
