"Sticking It To Cancer"

by Josh Fishman

First Vaccine Ever to End A CAncer Arrives on the Market this June

This is history. Merck has produced a wonderous vaccine to end cervical cancer . It is a vaccine against the virus HPV, according to Mr. Fischman. Two of these viruses have killed approximately 270,000 women every year and they have cuased 70% of all of the cervical cancer. Dr, Kevin Ault, A gynecologist from Emory University claimed that she has analysed data coming from 20,000 patients on five continents and when the vaccine is approved her daughter will get it.

What do you think about it?

I think if it does work it will take years to reach the public or govt is really horrible about getting good drugs to its' people and often takes years to approve drugs that are really needed.  As they say there is more money to be made in treating a disease than having a cure for it and our govt is all about money really.

Ah! So now I've figured out why the pap smears suddenly isn't good enough for detecting cervical cancer in women.......according to the TV commercial that has been on for the last six months or more. A new vaccine!......Call me a cynic (I can be) but sounds as if somebody is looking to sell vaccines.

What the previous two comments say is true, however, if this vaccine really does prevent these cancers as the manufacturer claims, it is a miracle of modern medicine.  To see actual cures and preventative vaccines being created for these horrible deseases during our life time is a blessing and is cause for celebration.
